Conjunctivitis is a term that explains a broad range of inflammatory and infectious conditions affecting the conjunctiva of the eye. In clinical practice, these conditions are sometimes difficult to distinguish and can vary from a mild allergy to a contagious infection. Eyecare professionals must be able to manage these occurrences adequately.

In this presentation, we will discuss different clinical presentations of conjunctivitis and the necessary therapeutic management required for each case.

The topics we will cover include: Allergic conjunctivitis; Bacterial conjunctivitis; Giant papillary conjunctivitis ;Episcleritis and Scleritis; Pterygium and pinguecula; Subconjunctival hemorrhage; Vernal conjunctivitis and Viral conjunctivitis.
